IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We offer this service for those who may lack the equipment or technical background for getting everything set up for Volvo CEM decoding. A complete backup of your vehicle is made and given to you on a USB drive before any changes are made, allowing for piece of mind and easy access to the stock vehicles data if issues arise.

• Service time (once the CEM is decoded) can range from a few minutes, to a few hours depending on what is being done to the vehicle. There is 0% risk of vehicle failure with these modifications.

• We warranty all our work if something is not to your satisfaction.

• We offer mobile service, with costs being $1 per mile from our shop in Mooresville NC. (No fee for distances under 30 miles or within Iredell and Rowan county). Service can also be done in our shop in Mooresville NC for free.

About CEM Decoding:

• The process of finding the code for your CEM is simple but very time intensive. A brute force method of trying hundreds of keys per second is used to determine the correct key, which means that access is granted the same as if the manufacturer was working on your vehicle. As such, this key finding can take 8+ hours, with some nearing 16 hours to complete. Since this time is so long, the car is placed on a battery tender while the program runs, and the vehicle is in a “deep sleep” state. The process can be paused at any time should the vehicle need to be driven. It is for this reason that we recommend the vehicle be dropped at our shop, or the customer provide a safe location with power outlets for us to leave the equipment over night.

Common Modifications:

• Remote Start

  • Only available on vehicles which are equipped with the 6 button PCC key, and keyless entry system.

• Global Open / Close

  • Open and close the windows with the PCC key, not available on early 2007-~2011 P3 models.

• DRL / Lighting

  • Disable DRLs or all lights from being on in the O position.

  • Retrofit auto headlights (new hardware required).

• Climate, Heating, and Cooling

  • Add heated or heated/cooled seats (new hardware required).

  • Change heated seat values.

  • Add heated steering wheel (new hardware required).

  • Convert displays between C and F

• Audio / SENSUS System

  • Disable Audio System Security for adding Premium / DynAudio components

Advanced Services

• TFT Display Install

  • We will provide a refurbished, factory reset TFT gauge cluster and install it into your vehicle along with the 2 extra wires needed for it to work. Install time is around 2 hours.

  • Each refurb. TFT DIM will have a brand new plastic front bezel installed, and will look like new!

• Audio System Upgrade

  • We will provide and install a DynAudio / Premium Sound (and tweeters if requested) for a much louder sound system.
